Experience the past and present in one day and combine your visit to the HISWA te water with a few hours of delicious culture sniffing in the Batavialand Museum. Fun with the kids!
The story of the Netherlands is the story of water. Water as a bitter enemy, water as a source of trade and prosperity. Batavialand brings our struggle against water to life – the reclamation and construction of dikes – but also the voyages of discovery, overseas trade and the specialist knowledge that the Netherlands exports. More than 7,000 years of living on the border of land and water – you can hear, see and feel it in Batavialand!
The Batavialand museum is less than 300 metres from the entrance to the HISWA te water, so a visit to both is an excellent combination. In cooperation with Batavialand, we can offer visitors a low-cost combination ticket. When you book your ticket online, you only pay € 20,- for an adult instead of € 29,- at the box office and your children can participate for € 10,- instead of € 15,-. If you order a ticket online from us, you will receive your combination ticket by e-mail, which gives access to the HISWA te water and the Batavialand museum between 5 and 9 September.
Batavialand is open from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00 and on Sundays from 11:00 to 17:00.
